TrashHelp Terms of Service Agreement
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please carefully read the following Terms of Service. By accepting a quote or utilizing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these terms. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you (the “Client”) and TrashHelp, including its owners, employees, and subcontractors (the “Company”).
1. SCOPE OF SERVICES
TrashHelp provides professional junk removal and dumpster rental services for both residential and commercial clients. By agreeing to these terms, you understand and accept the following:
Junk removal services include the collection, transportation, and disposal of unwanted items as directed by the Client. Additional fees may apply based on accessibility or other considerations.
Dumpster rental services include the delivery, placement, rental, and removal of dumpsters for Client use within the agreed rental period.
2. SERVICE AUTHORIZATIONS
Access to Property: The Client authorizes the Company to access their property for the purpose of delivering, servicing, or removing dumpsters, as well as performing junk removal services.
Dumpster Placement: The Client is responsible for specifying placement instructions. TrashHelp is not liable for damage to driveways, lawns, or other property features caused by dumpster placement unless negligence is proven.
WEIGHT & CONTENT RESPONSIBILITY: The client is responsible for the contents and total weight of materials placed in the dumpster. Overloading or including items that exceed weight limits may increase the risk of property damage during service or removal. TrashHelp is not liable for damage caused by excessive weight, structural strain, or misuse of the dumpster.
SURFACE PROTECTION RECOMMENDATIONS: If the client is concerned about potential damage to driveways or surfaces, it is recommended that plywood sheets be laid down prior to delivery. For standard-sized dumpsters (12 to 20 yards), we recommend using four (4) sheets of 4’x8’ 1/2”—3/4” (depending on surface) plywood to create a stable base beneath the dumpster rails and wheels. Additional sheets may be required for larger sizes or uneven surfaces.
Service Timeframes: The Company will perform services within the estimated timeframe. Delays due to weather, site conditions, or unforeseen circumstances may require rescheduling. The Company will communicate any changes promptly.
3. COVERAGE AREAS
TrashHelp provides services in Palm Beach County and surrounding areas, including Broward, St. Lucie, and Martin Counties. Additional fees may apply for services outside Palm Beach County.
For detailed pricing and additional information, please visit our website at www.trashhelp.com or contact us directly at 561.316.8668 or info@trashhelp.com.
4. LOAD LIMITS AND OVERAGE CHARGES
Junk Removal Loads:
Each 1/4 load (4 cubic yards) includes a weight allowance of 1,000 lbs.
Weight overages are charged at $42.50 per 1,000 lbs beyond the included allowance.
Additional fees apply for items located more than 50 feet from the truck or if stairs/elevators are involved.
Dumpster Rental Loads:
Dumpsters include a specific tonnage allowance and rental period as outlined in the Client’s quote.
Overages are charged at $95 per ton (prorated) for weights exceeding the allowance.
Dumpsters must not be overloaded or filled above the sides. The total weight must not exceed 8,000 lbs.
Overloaded Dumpsters: Dumpsters with debris hanging out of the sides, top, or back will incur a $150 fee for the additional safety precautions required during transport.
5. USAGE AND RESPONSIBILITY
Approved Materials: Dumpsters may only be used for the disposal of approved materials. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: hazardous waste, flammable substances, asbestos, chemicals, medical waste, and batteries.
Weight and Load Limits: Dumpsters must not be filled beyond the designated fill line or exceed the posted weight limit. Overloading may result in removal delays, additional fees, or damage to equipment, for which the Client may be held liable.
Dumpster Care: Dumpsters must not be painted, spray-painted, altered, compacted with equipment, or subjected to shredding, grinding, or mechanical manipulation of contents. Such activities can cause structural damage to the dumpster. Any damage incurred to TrashHelp equipment—including the body, frame, floor, doors, or wheels—while in the Client’s possession or control will be repaired at the Client’s expense, using a vendor selected by TrashHelp.
Movement Restrictions: Dumpsters must not be moved or repositioned by the Client or any third party. Relocation of the dumpster is only permitted by TrashHelp personnel. Any damage caused by unauthorized movement, towing, or handling is the Client’s responsibility.
Placement & Authorization: The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that the dumpster’s placement is legally permitted on the property and complies with any HOA, condo association, or municipal regulations. Any fines, violations, or relocation costs incurred due to improper placement are the full responsibility of the Client.
Failed Attempts: If TrashHelp is unable to deliver or retrieve a dumpster due to blocked access, lack of preparation, or other preventable conditions, a $150 trip fee will apply.
6. RISKS AND LIABILITY ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Client Property Damage Disclaimer: TrashHelp is not responsible for any damage to lawns, driveways, irrigation systems, underground lines, curbs, or other surfaces resulting from the placement or retrieval of the dumpster. By accepting service, the Client acknowledges and accepts the risk of minor cosmetic or structural impact associated with placing heavy equipment on their property.
Dumpster Liability: The Client assumes full responsibility for the dumpster during the rental period. Any misuse, negligence, or unauthorized activity resulting in damage to TrashHelp equipment will be documented and invoiced for repair or replacement.
Pre-Existing Conditions: TrashHelp is not liable for damages resulting from unstable ground, pre-existing cracks, poor surface conditions, or any hidden obstructions on the Client’s property.
Prohibited Materials: It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure prohibited materials are not placed in the dumpster and to clearly communicate any areas of concern prior to service. TrashHelp is not liable for consequences arising from failure to disclose such details.
